Peter Anderson

 Peter holds a B.A. degree from the University of Georgia and is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer with over 21 years of experience, all in the Sun Valley area. His training focus is on gaining strength while maintaining flexibility. He employs progressive resistance techniques on a variety of equipment. Peter designs safe, effective exercises personalized to each client.

Lynn Barclay

 Lynn recently relocated to Sun Valley. She is Certified In Yoga Therapy RX and Prime of Life Yoga (for those over age 60) from Loyola Marymount University. A former professional dancer, she suffered a back injury and back surgery, and then embraced yoga as a healing art for herself. Lynn's training enables her to safely work with individuals regardless of age, gender or physical ability. She believes strongly in the ability to empower ourselves through strength, balance and movement. Lynn has studied with many masters of yoga including Ganga White, Larry Payne and Jonny Kest. She is registered with Yoga Alliance, International Association of Yoga Therapists, and BA Dance Point Park College. In her free time she loves to hike with her husband and dogs.

Maria Beattie

 Maria was a competitive swimmer and diver from Connecticut. She holds a B.S. degree in Exercise Physiology from Southern Connecticut State University. A swim instructor since college, Maria has been coaching the local swim team since 2009. Maria encourages hard work and improvement along with a strong emphasis on learning technique and having fun. When away from the pool, Maria enjoys mountain biking, trail running, and skiing.

Kim is an AFFA Certified Personal Trainer and has been a Certified Fitness Instructor since 1989. Kim earned her master's degree in Psychology in 1995, and in 2000 combined her love of fitness with psychology to become a Personal Trainer. Over the years she has taught a variety of classes including: Step Aerobics, Kickboxing, Boot Camp, Body Sculpting, Body Pump, Pilates, and Senior Programs. Kim believes fitness is a lifelong journey and something to be embraced, not endured. Her true passion remains encouraging people to find physical strength and endurance they didn't believe they had.

Grady Burnett

 An avid competitive cyclist, Grady has been teaching indoor cycling classes for over 15 years, originally at the Sun Valley Athletic Club and now here at Zenergy. He has raced bikes throughout the Northwest for over 25 years, and was Idaho state criterium champion twice in the mid ‘90s. With more than 80 bike, triathlon, and uphill endurance races under his belt, he remains committed to the endurance sport lifestyle and loves sharing this enthusiasm in his classes.

Cathie Caccia

 Cathie began her formal study of Hatha Yoga in 1984. Trained originally in the Iyengar Method, she has found both guidance and inspiration from many of today's leading teachers including but not limited to; Rodney Yee, John Friend, Judith Lasater, Patricia Walden, Dharma Mittra and Rod Stryker. Cathie’s classes combine plenty of asana, breath awareness, chanting and deep relaxation to help her students awaken to their most essential nature. Cathie is a Yoga Alliance registered teacher at the E-RYT 500 level and a Shiatsu and Massage therapist with over 1200 hours of training. She has been teaching Yoga since 1987.
Cathie is delighted to be at Zenergy and can be found teaching Yin Yoga, All levels Hatha Yoga and offering Shiatsu massage in the spa.


Margie Caldwell-Cooper

 A competitive swimmer from Santa Barbara, California, in her youth, Margie Caldwell-Cooper, B.A. Ed., Aquatic Exercise Association Global Fitness Professional of the Year 2006, loves learning as much as teaching all levels of exercise participants and instructors on land and in the water. Now certified by ACE (gold), AEA, AFAA and Yoga Alliance, she has grown with the fitness industry, moving from group classes taught in leg warmers to the current focus on core fitness, balance, and fusion workouts. Margie brings Hydro-Fit education and classes to Rancho La Puerta health spa and travels to offer continuing education to instructors around the country, focusing on core training and functional fitness for Water Fitness workouts. For winter fun, she still swims, snowboards, and teaches Pilates in Ketchum/Sun Valley, Idaho.

Danielle Carruth

 Danielle was first certified as a traditional ashtanga yoga instructor at Mount Madonna Center in Santa Cruz, California in 2003. She has also been trained in Iyengar and Anusara traditions in her intervening 10 years of teaching. Her teaching style is a mix of the 3 traditions with emphasis on alignment and flow. Danielle is formerly a US development team skier and college racer for Middlebury and University of Colorado. She is still an avid skier and teaches for the Sun Valley Snow Sports School during the winter months. Her approach to yoga is very much from an athlete's perspective.

Shanny Cohen

 Shanny’s history of competitive sports drove her to become an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. As a Sun Valley native, she grew up alpine ski racing and working with the US Development System. This was the foundation into her current career as a Professional Freeskier. Shanny also races motocross, is a sponsored wake surfer and was competitive in both soccer and tennis.
Shanny specializes in working with athletes - both competitive and recreational. With competitive sports come injuries, which has motivated Shanny to become a Orthopedic Exercise Specialist in addition to her Personal Training. Rehabbing injuries and chronic health problems is something she has a lot of experience with personally, as well as through her education. Shanny is committed to keeping all of her client’s fitness programs fun and fresh while keeping them motivated by seeing results and recovery.

Diane Crist

 Diane Crist, M.A., is a certified yoga instructor and a Jungian psychotherapist who has been practicing in the Wood River Valley since 1989. She believes in the power of the psyche to influence illness and health. Diane honors the body's ability to change one's mindset. She is especially interested in the application of specific asanas (poses) to aid in the recovery of certain psychological disorders such as depression, anxiety, or addictions. She weaves psychological and spiritual threads into her yoga classes while staying light and playful.

Erin Finnegan

 Erin, a Physical Therapist, joined Sun Valley Sports Rehabilitation at Zenergy in 2010. Prior, she worked for the world-renowned Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. There she gained expertise in evidence-based treatments for both pediatric and adult patients with extensive orthopedic and neurological impairments. Erin received a grant from National Parkinson Foundation and is committed to implementing the most innovative strategies to improve the lives of those with Parkinson's disease. She is an athlete who has earned USA Triathlon All-American honors and competed in the Ironman World Championships. Erin is compelled to help athletes of all abilities prevent and recover from injury, embrace an active lifestyle and accomplish their sport-specific goals.

Ed Flory

 A Sun Valley resident since 1985, Ed Flory has been involved in swimming as a competitor and coach for more than four decades. Ed was a nationally renowned swimmer at Kutztown University, a NCAA Division II National Champion and 15-time Coaches All-American. He trained with USA Swimming for the World Games in Berlin and the 1980 Summer Olympic Games in Moscow (which the United States ended up boycotting). In 2002, Ed earned a master’s degree in natural health from Clayton College. He launched the Masters Swim Program at Zenergy in 2001 and ran it for three years before moving on to other endeavors. Currently, he is our age group kids’ swim coach, is also available for private lessons, and is proud to once again take over the ever-growing Zenergy Masters program.

After a career in five-star hotels Anna decided to bring her high energy, and interpersonal skills to the fitness industry. As a group fitness instructor and personal trainer she is able to fuse a sense of hospitality with her workouts to achieve a highly motivating and memorable experience. When Anna's not bouncing off the walls at the gym, she enjoys time with her family skiing, hiking, biking and paddle boarding.

Eric Hall

 Eric Hall is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, NESTA Certified Adventure Boot Camp Trainer, Certified Kettlebell Instructor, and an AIS Therapist. Eric is truly excited to focus his passion on enriching lives though health and fitness. Sports have played an integral part in Eric’s life from a very early age. Having played competitive soccer since the age of five, Eric still has a true love for the sport and currently coaches youth programs and participates on local teams. Eric served eight years in the US Marine Corps, receiving high honors in fitness and leadership. Even though the experience required strict discipline, Eric’s caring and fun personality has remained intact.

Casey Hanrahan

 Casey has been a Valley resident for eleven years and works as Director of Gilman Contemporary. When she isn't hitting the slopes or the mountain bike trails, she spends her time pursuing her career as a fly girl. She brings her spark and energy to the dance floor teaching ZUMBA at Zenergy.

Claudia Hattrup

 Claudia's extensive training knowledge is the result of her intense love of sports, her formal education (ACE Certified Personal Trainer since 2000), and years of practical experience as a professional mountain bike racer. Claudia also enjoys running, off-road triathlons, as well as road and cyclocross racing, all of which continue to broaden her training repertoire. If you don't see Claudia on the starting line or at Zenergy, you'll most likely find her pursuing one of her many winter passions: alpine, telemark, or backcountry skiing.

As Zenergy’s Health and Wellness Manager, Tim oversees all clinics and special events and is here to assist you in scheduling your health and wellness appointments. He is also available to discuss your fitness goals and recommend the perfect Zenergy trainer or program to help you reach them.

Tim is an NASM-certified personal trainer who is passionate about providing unique, total-body workouts. His further certifications with Les Mills CX Worx and TRX suspension training guarantee to keep you on your toes. Tim draws from experience competing in triathlon, ultra marathon, soccer, skiing, pole vaulting and more to develop well-balanced circuit training programs for the beginning gym-goers all the way to professional athletes. If you are feeling adventurous, try mixing one of his caveman workouts in with some of your favorite trail runs or meet in the park to experience a “playground challenge.” These programs are revitalizing, addictive, and produce results.

Dana Henry

 Dana is an L.Ac. licensed acupuncturist and yoga teacher. She has a Masters in Oriental Medicine and a B.A.in Asian Studies from Colgate University. She has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and been a health care practitioner for seven. Dana believes that acupuncture and yoga work well together in keeping the body, mind, and soul in balance. She loves the mountains and her dog Rover!

Jessica Kisiel

 Sports alignment coach, Jessica Kisiel, MS helps athletes of all levels and ages eliminate pain and recover from injury. Uniquely blending posture alignment therapy, sports coaching, movement technique, wellness coaching and strength and conditioning, she gives you all the tools needed to prevent and overcome physical limitations. A long-time health and fitness professional Jessica was diagnosed with severe hip Osteoarthritis following three knee surgeries. Using an integrated approach she recovered and is back to sports. She'll help you return to activity with increased body confidence, a stronger mental attitude and a holistic training strategy that supports continued wellness. Jessica lives in Los Alamos, NM with her husband Ken. She currently travels to the Wood River Valley four to five times a year to conduct Egoscue® clinics and assist her Idaho clients.

Emily Knowles

 Emily is a Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor, and Group Fitness Instructor. Her certifications include A.C.E Personal Trainer, A.C.E. Fitness Instructor, Authentic Pilates Instructor, and Intuitive Eating Coach. She has been working in the industry since 1998. Training, challenging, and seeing changes in the body are a passion of hers. She has run a marathon and competed in the NGA Northwest Natural Pro-Atlas Bodybuilding and Figure Championships in Boise, taking second place in 2004 and winning the overall title in 2012. Emily enjoys working with people who are overweight and having a tough time getting motivated. That is her specialty, and she loves to share the "secrets" she's learned over the years to attaining a fit and healthy body.

Rob Kolb

 Rob started playing tennis at the age of five. Throughout his junior years Rob competed in Intermountain Division tennis tournaments, achieving great success. Rob started his career in tennis at Sun Valley Company at the age of 15, becoming their youngest full-time summer tennis instructor. He has been teaching professionally ever since. During his teaching experience Rob has co-instructed clinics and played in multiple exhibition matches with tennis professionals including Mats Wilander, Tom Gorman, Fred Stolle, and Tracy Austin. The experiences he has had with these professionals, as well as with other great tennis mentors, have greatly influenced his career and teaching style. Rob enjoys skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, alpine touring, mountain biking, hiking, golf, tennis, and rock climbing.

Alex Laws


Alex Laws has found a balance between athletics and opening up your intuition. To date, running over 40 marathons and 15 Ironman tri-athalons Alex has made endurance athletics a way of life. Cycling races across the state of Oregon and from Oregon to Idaho he has developed training discoveries unique to him. “Riding 560 miles in 43 hours changed my understanding of what we as athletes can accompliosh.” Alex shares this with each spin class he teaches a level of inspiration and enthusiasm for the beginner to the accomplished athlete. A three time finisher of the Hawaii Ultra-man (6.2 mile ocean swim, 264 mile bike ride, and a 52.4 mile run), Alex brings his authenticity and passion to each class or private session he conducts.

George Maurtua

 George started his tennis career at the age of four on the red clay courts of South America. He climbed up the junior ranks to South American and Peruvian junior champion and has been ranked 16 in singles and 7 in doubles nationally in the USA in his age group. George has gone through rigorous training and testing by the United Professional Tennis Association and has earned the high honors of a USPTA - Professional #1 Certification. This is one of the highest achievements earned by a teaching professional.

Eryn Michaud

 Eryn draws on a history of influential teachers in addition to the inspiration of her daily meditation and yoga practices to create organic classes, which challenge students to uncover the latent energy that can heal. In her teaching Eryn fuses the elements of Vinyasa, alignment, mindfulness, self-inquiry, and hands-on adjustments, creating a safe space for students to be who they are and as they are in each moment. Her students describe her teaching as dynamic, innovative, and honest. Along with teaching, Eryn maintains a private psychotherapy practice and is a Ph.D. candidate in Clinical Psychology.

Cal Millar

 Cal brings 19 years of practicing Qi Gong to Zenergy. Qi Gong can be defined as “dedicated energy work.” It is a soft martial art form that focuses upon cultivating energy in order to create calmness of spirit with the added benefits of improved balance, coordination and strength. Cal offers simple instruction encouraging each person in his or her own journey of energy cultivation. Cal is also a board-certified acupuncturist with 17 years experience practicing in the Wood River Valley.

Leo Miranda

 Leo's personal tennis achievements include: National ranking singles #2 1983 (Lima, Peru); National titles 14 & 16 division; represented Peru in South American championship (Santiago, Chile), Banana Bowl (Sao Paolo Brazil), Orange Bowl (USA), Inka Bowl (Lima, Peru) Juniors 14-16-18; Most Valuable Player at Lees Mcrae College 1987 (Banner Elk, North Carolina); Big Sky conference runner-up at #2 singles (Boise, Idaho). Leo additionally brings 22 years of coaching experience to Zenergy, including: November 2006, ITF Men's Circuit (Ivan Miranda), September 2003, US OPEN (Ivan Miranda & Alexandre Simoni), Assistant tennis coach at Boise State University, 1990, Tennis pro at Sonesta Beach Hotel, 1992, and Assistant tennis coach at Sheraton Royal Biscayne, 1985

Georgie Montgomery

 Georgie is a fitness enthusiast. She engages clients in programs that challenge muscles with creative programs. Working with a variety of equipment is her specialty so the client is constantly learning new exercises. Her mantra ..."If exercise isn't fun then people lose interest. Exercise should always be safe and fun!" Georgie is an accomplished triathlete and runner. She has been competing since 1991 where her career started in Japan. She has most recently won the girls on the run 5k, 2012 and is currently state champion for the Olympic distance triathlon in her age group. Georgie holds certifications with the Yoga Alliance, A.C.E. Personal Trainer, extended training with A.C.E. in body mechanics and pregnancy and exercise. She studied nutrition at NYU and is knowledgeable in sports nutrition.


Karen Morrison

 Karen holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota and is certified as a Clinical Exercise Specialist, A.C.E. Personal Trainer, A.C.E. Wilderness First Responder, W.M.I. - IVOLS. Karen enjoys helping people improve their personal fitness levels according to their unique circumstances, talents, limitations, and desires. She believes that fitness leads to health, both physically and mentally. Small steps turn into great journeys with time. In her free time Karen enjoys hockey, swimming, hiking, and biking.


Neil Morrow

 Neil has been teaching Spinning for over 14 years and is certified by Maddog and Startek spinning systems. He has taught classes in aerobics and mat Pilates. Neil trained in Bando, a Burmese martial art and participated in National Kickboxing competitions. Neil enjoys bringing a variety of music styles and a positive high-energy approach to his spin classes. Making spin class fun and challenging for all participants from beginners to long-term cyclists is his goal. Neil holds a J.D. degree from the Duquesne University School of Law and has been admitted to the practice of law in Idaho. Neil provides Small Claims Mediation for Blaine County and is a board member for The Advocates for Survivors of Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence.

Jill Pardini Morse

 Jill has been a physical therapist for 20 years, 15 of which have been in the Wood River Valley. She has always worked with orthopedic and sports injuries, which parallel Jill's personal interests. Jill enjoys the reward of helping people return to their activities, whether it is competitive sports or simply being able to enjoy an active lifestyle.

Suzanne Mulenos

 Suzanne is a registered nurse, ACE Gold Certified Group Fitness Instructor, ACE Personal Trainer, Schwinn Certified Instructor, and an I.D.E.A. member. Suzanne has taught group fitness since 1979. Suzanne was a member of the winning Danskin Triathlon team "Carpe Mammae.*" Her therapeutic teaching approach is an artistic blend of her nursing degree, her career in the fitness industry, her experience as an oncology patient, and years as a competitive athlete. Suzanne enjoys skate skiing, alpine skiing, hiking, swimming, and offering volunteer time to Expedition Inspiration as well as the SVSS Music Conservatory. *This team was composed of breast cancer survivors. The literal translation of the team name is "Seize the Breast."

Deborah Murphy

 Deborah has been a Certified Authentic Romana's Pilates Instructor since 2002. Deborah believes that Pilates is for all walks of life and that everyone can benefit, from the injured to the inflexible or uncoordinated to the very athletic. She feels that doing what you love will lead to the life you love—sound mind, good health, positive attitude, and daily exercise with a lot of laughter. In her free time Deborah enjoys this wonderful place we live.

Diane Olson

 A former marketing professor and university historian, Diane Olson relocated to Sun Valley, Idaho, to finish writing a book. She moonlighted as an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor for 30 years, trained collegiate basketball and volleyball teams, and participated in two of the first western aerobic competitions. In 1998, Diane became a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise. She later received a certification through the American Institute of Fitness Educators specializing in older adult training. Diane's continuing education emphasizes working with individuals with chronic disease and disabilities. She is a member of the International Council on Active Aging.

Katherine Pleasants

 Katherine is a passionate and well-respected yoga teacher in our community. Her knowledge and teaching skills have brought her a great following of beginners to advanced yoga students. Katherine's approach in yoga is gentle with alignment, using breath in relationship to movement which allows for more release in the postures, in addition to proper support of props as individually needed to address injuries and health concerns. She holds certifications in Iyengar, Advanced Restorative Yoga, Essential Yoga Therapy, Essential Low Back Intensive, Yoga Meditation, Philosophy, Theory, and Injury Prevention as well as other certifications. Katherine also teaches privates, workshops, clinics, and has specialized in custom yoga retreats since 1999.

Diane Pobocik

 Born in Michigan, Diane first came to the area in 1998, living and working at Galena Lodge. She fell in love with Nordic Skiing and the mountain lifestyle and never left. Diane graduated from the Idaho School of massage in 2003. Her initial training included Swedish massage, reflexology, sports massage and clinical deep tissue. Diane loves continuing education and is always adding to her repertoir of massage techniques which now include neuromuscular therapy, orthopedic massage, active isolated stretching and strengthening, and Thai massage. Most recently Diane has become an Ace Certified Personal Trainer and NASM Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist. She is also a certified TRX trainer and loves the TRX as a personal training tool.

Brenda Powell

 Brenda is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, an ACSM Health Fitness Instructor, and Certified Yoga Instructor. She also holds a B.S. in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Sports Nutrition. Brenda has been in the fitness industry for 20 years, yet still maintains the energy and enthusiasm she had early in her career. Throughout her experience, Brenda's constant passion has been teaching group exercise, personal training, yoga, and helping her clients understand the importance of the nutritional component in their routines. Brenda still has the energy and enthusiasm she had as a young leotard- and leg warmer-wearing 20-year-old, but with much more wisdom for the safety and programming aspects of exercise.

Ryan Redman

 Due to a keen interest in yoga, Ryan began exploring the sub-continent of India at a very young age. During his travels, Sri Sathya Baba inspired and awakened him to a lifelong commitment to spirituality. At the age of 21, Ryan began sharing his yoga practice as a certified instructor in Santa Barbara, California. With close to three years of intensive study in India, Ryan has grounded the roots of his teachings deep in Indian Philosophy, while also integrating western principles of Anatomy and Physiology. Ryan continues to lead retreats and teach workshops internationally in both yoga and Ayurveda.

Julie is Certified Public Accountant who has lived in the valley for 19 years. A spin instructor at Zenergy for the last 5 years, Julie has recently expanded her role at the club to include Human Resources and Payroll Manger. She brings with her over 20 years of experience in various accounting and management positions in the financial services industry. In addition to her interest in fitness, Julie is also certified as both a Precision Nutrition Coach and an Eating Psychology Coach and will be helping to expand the nutrition offerings that Zenergy has for its members. When not crunching numbers or researching protein powder, Julie enjoys spinning (of course), trail running and Nordic skiing.

Jessica Soine

 Jessica arrived in Ketchum, Idaho in 1999 with a zest for the outdoors and a passion for health and healing. Her first yoga training was with Bikram Choudary at the Bikram Yoga College of India in Los Angeles, California, where she discovered that heat plays a key role in opening the body. She instructed, operated and owned the Bikram Yoga Sun Valley Studio in Ketchum for three years. Currently, she teaches a combination of flow in the heat with a vibrant, aloha spirit. Jessica has a B.S. in Exercise Science, has had experience as a personal trainer, and is also a massage therapist. She believes the human body encompasses an amazing journey; if we keep our hearts open, the human spirit will endure an extraordinary experience. This is why everybody may enjoy the path of yoga, on the mat, into real life.

Kim is an AFFA Certified Personal Trainer and has been a Certified Fitness Instructor since 1989. Kim earned her master's degree in Psychology in 1995, and in 2000 combined her love of fitness with psychology to become a Personal Trainer. Over the years she has taught a variety of classes including: Step Aerobics, Kickboxing, Boot Camp, Body Sculpting, Body Pump, Pilates, and Senior Programs. Kim believes fitness is a lifelong journey and something to be embraced, not endured. Her true passion remains encouraging people to find physical strength and endurance they didn't believe they had.

Margie Caldwell-Cooper

 A competitive swimmer from Santa Barbara, California, in her youth, Margie Caldwell-Cooper, B.A. Ed., Aquatic Exercise Association Global Fitness Professional of the Year 2006, loves learning as much as teaching all levels of exercise participants and instructors on land and in the water. Now certified by ACE (gold), AEA, AFAA and Yoga Alliance, she has grown with the fitness industry, moving from group classes taught in leg warmers to the current focus on core fitness, balance, and fusion workouts. Margie brings Hydro-Fit education and classes to Rancho La Puerta health spa and travels to offer continuing education to instructors around the country, focusing on core training and functional fitness for Water Fitness workouts. For winter fun, she still swims, snowboards, and teaches Pilates in Ketchum/Sun Valley, Idaho.

 Erin, a Physical Therapist, joined Sun Valley Sports Rehabilitation at Zenergy in 2010. Prior, she worked for the world-renowned Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. There she gained expertise in evidence-based treatments for both pediatric and adult patients with extensive orthopedic and neurological impairments. Erin received a grant from National Parkinson Foundation and is committed to implementing the most innovative strategies to improve the lives of those with Parkinson's disease. She is an athlete who has earned USA Triathlon All-American honors and competed in the Ironman World Championships. Erin is compelled to help athletes of all abilities prevent and recover from injury, embrace an active lifestyle and accomplish their sport-specific goals.

Tim is an NASM-certified personal trainer who is passionate about providing unique, total-body workouts. His further certifications with Les Mills CX Worx and TRX suspension training guarantee to keep you on your toes. Tim draws from experience competing in triathlon, ultra marathon, soccer, skiing, pole vaulting and more to develop well-balanced circuit training programs for the beginning gym-goers all the way to professional athletes. If you are feeling adventurous, try mixing one of his caveman workouts in with some of your favorite trail runs or meet in the park to experience a “playground challenge.” These programs are revitalizing, addictive, and produce results.

Casey Hanrahan

 Casey has been a Valley resident for eleven years and works as Director of Gilman Contemporary. When she isn't hitting the slopes or the mountain bike trails, she spends her time pursuing her career as a fly girl. She brings her spark and energy to the dance floor teaching ZUMBA at Zenergy.

Emily Knowles

 Emily is a Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor, and Group Fitness Instructor. Her certifications include A.C.E Personal Trainer, A.C.E. Fitness Instructor, Authentic Pilates Instructor, and Intuitive Eating Coach. She has been working in the industry since 1998. Training, challenging, and seeing changes in the body are a passion of hers. She has run a marathon and competed in the NGA Northwest Natural Pro-Atlas Bodybuilding and Figure Championships in Boise, taking second place in 2004 and winning the overall title in 2012. Emily enjoys working with people who are overweight and having a tough time getting motivated. That is her specialty, and she loves to share the "secrets" she's learned over the years to attaining a fit and healthy body.

Suzanne Mulenos

 Suzanne is a registered nurse, ACE Gold Certified Group Fitness Instructor, ACE Personal Trainer, Schwinn Certified Instructor, and an I.D.E.A. member. Suzanne has taught group fitness since 1979. Suzanne was a member of the winning Danskin Triathlon team "Carpe Mammae.*" Her therapeutic teaching approach is an artistic blend of her nursing degree, her career in the fitness industry, her experience as an oncology patient, and years as a competitive athlete. Suzanne enjoys skate skiing, alpine skiing, hiking, swimming, and offering volunteer time to Expedition Inspiration as well as the SVSS Music Conservatory. *This team was composed of breast cancer survivors. The literal translation of the team name is "Seize the Breast."

Grady Burnett

 An avid competitive cyclist, Grady has been teaching indoor cycling classes for over 15 years, originally at the Sun Valley Athletic Club and now here at Zenergy. He has raced bikes throughout the Northwest for over 25 years, and was Idaho state criterium champion twice in the mid ‘90s. With more than 80 bike, triathlon, and uphill endurance races under his belt, he remains committed to the endurance sport lifestyle and loves sharing this enthusiasm in his classes.

Erin Finnegan

 Erin, a Physical Therapist, joined Sun Valley Sports Rehabilitation at Zenergy in 2010. Prior, she worked for the world-renowned Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. There she gained expertise in evidence-based treatments for both pediatric and adult patients with extensive orthopedic and neurological impairments. Erin received a grant from National Parkinson Foundation and is committed to implementing the most innovative strategies to improve the lives of those with Parkinson's disease. She is an athlete who has earned USA Triathlon All-American honors and competed in the Ironman World Championships. Erin is compelled to help athletes of all abilities prevent and recover from injury, embrace an active lifestyle and accomplish their sport-specific goals.

Claudia Hattrup

 Claudia's extensive training knowledge is the result of her intense love of sports, her formal education (ACE Certified Personal Trainer since 2000), and years of practical experience as a professional mountain bike racer. Claudia also enjoys running, off-road triathlons, as well as road and cyclocross racing, all of which continue to broaden her training repertoire. If you don't see Claudia on the starting line or at Zenergy, you'll most likely find her pursuing one of her many winter passions: alpine, telemark, or backcountry skiing.

Alex Laws


Alex Laws has found a balance between athletics and opening up your intuition. To date, running over 40 marathons and 15 Ironman tri-athalons Alex has made endurance athletics a way of life. Cycling races across the state of Oregon and from Oregon to Idaho he has developed training discoveries unique to him. “Riding 560 miles in 43 hours changed my understanding of what we as athletes can accompliosh.” Alex shares this with each spin class he teaches a level of inspiration and enthusiasm for the beginner to the accomplished athlete. A three time finisher of the Hawaii Ultra-man (6.2 mile ocean swim, 264 mile bike ride, and a 52.4 mile run), Alex brings his authenticity and passion to each class or private session he conducts.

Georgie Montgomery

 Georgie is a fitness enthusiast. She engages clients in programs that challenge muscles with creative programs. Working with a variety of equipment is her specialty so the client is constantly learning new exercises. Her mantra ..."If exercise isn't fun then people lose interest. Exercise should always be safe and fun!" Georgie is an accomplished triathlete and runner. She has been competing since 1991 where her career started in Japan. She has most recently won the girls on the run 5k, 2012 and is currently state champion for the Olympic distance triathlon in her age group. Georgie holds certifications with the Yoga Alliance, A.C.E. Personal Trainer, extended training with A.C.E. in body mechanics and pregnancy and exercise. She studied nutrition at NYU and is knowledgeable in sports nutrition.


Neil Morrow

 Neil has been teaching Spinning for over 14 years and is certified by Maddog and Startek spinning systems. He has taught classes in aerobics and mat Pilates. Neil trained in Bando, a Burmese martial art and participated in National Kickboxing competitions. Neil enjoys bringing a variety of music styles and a positive high-energy approach to his spin classes. Making spin class fun and challenging for all participants from beginners to long-term cyclists is his goal. Neil holds a J.D. degree from the Duquesne University School of Law and has been admitted to the practice of law in Idaho. Neil provides Small Claims Mediation for Blaine County and is a board member for The Advocates for Survivors of Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence.

Brenda Powell

 Brenda is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, an ACSM Health Fitness Instructor, and Certified Yoga Instructor. She also holds a B.S. in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Sports Nutrition. Brenda has been in the fitness industry for 20 years, yet still maintains the energy and enthusiasm she had early in her career. Throughout her experience, Brenda's constant passion has been teaching group exercise, personal training, yoga, and helping her clients understand the importance of the nutritional component in their routines. Brenda still has the energy and enthusiasm she had as a young leotard- and leg warmer-wearing 20-year-old, but with much more wisdom for the safety and programming aspects of exercise.

Julie is Certified Public Accountant who has lived in the valley for 19 years. A spin instructor at Zenergy for the last 5 years, Julie has recently expanded her role at the club to include Human Resources and Payroll Manger. She brings with her over 20 years of experience in various accounting and management positions in the financial services industry. In addition to her interest in fitness, Julie is also certified as both a Precision Nutrition Coach and an Eating Psychology Coach and will be helping to expand the nutrition offerings that Zenergy has for its members. When not crunching numbers or researching protein powder, Julie enjoys spinning (of course), trail running and Nordic skiing.

Peter Anderson

 Peter holds a B.A. degree from the University of Georgia and is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer with over 21 years of experience, all in the Sun Valley area. His training focus is on gaining strength while maintaining flexibility. He employs progressive resistance techniques on a variety of equipment. Peter designs safe, effective exercises personalized to each client.

Shanny Cohen

 Shanny’s history of competitive sports drove her to become an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. As a Sun Valley native, she grew up alpine ski racing and working with the US Development System. This was the foundation into her current career as a Professional Freeskier. Shanny also races motocross, is a sponsored wake surfer and was competitive in both soccer and tennis.
Shanny specializes in working with athletes - both competitive and recreational. With competitive sports come injuries, which has motivated Shanny to become a Orthopedic Exercise Specialist in addition to her Personal Training. Rehabbing injuries and chronic health problems is something she has a lot of experience with personally, as well as through her education. Shanny is committed to keeping all of her client’s fitness programs fun and fresh while keeping them motivated by seeing results and recovery.

Eric Hall

 Eric Hall is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, NESTA Certified Adventure Boot Camp Trainer, Certified Kettlebell Instructor, and an AIS Therapist. Eric is truly excited to focus his passion on enriching lives though health and fitness. Sports have played an integral part in Eric’s life from a very early age. Having played competitive soccer since the age of five, Eric still has a true love for the sport and currently coaches youth programs and participates on local teams. Eric served eight years in the US Marine Corps, receiving high honors in fitness and leadership. Even though the experience required strict discipline, Eric’s caring and fun personality has remained intact.

Diane Olson

 A former marketing professor and university historian, Diane Olson relocated to Sun Valley, Idaho, to finish writing a book. She moonlighted as an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor for 30 years, trained collegiate basketball and volleyball teams, and participated in two of the first western aerobic competitions. In 1998, Diane became a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise. She later received a certification through the American Institute of Fitness Educators specializing in older adult training. Diane's continuing education emphasizes working with individuals with chronic disease and disabilities. She is a member of the International Council on Active Aging.

Diane Pobocik

 Born in Michigan, Diane first came to the area in 1998, living and working at Galena Lodge. She fell in love with Nordic Skiing and the mountain lifestyle and never left. Diane graduated from the Idaho School of massage in 2003. Her initial training included Swedish massage, reflexology, sports massage and clinical deep tissue. Diane loves continuing education and is always adding to her repertoir of massage techniques which now include neuromuscular therapy, orthopedic massage, active isolated stretching and strengthening, and Thai massage. Most recently Diane has become an Ace Certified Personal Trainer and NASM Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist. She is also a certified TRX trainer and loves the TRX as a personal training tool.

Colleen Coyne

 Colleen graduated with a baccalaureate degree in physical therapy from Temple University in Philadelphia. She has been a physical therapist in Sun Valley for 35 years and loves her profession, as it has given her a wonderful avenue to interact with so many people in the area. Colleen continues to learn on a daily basis and feels fortunate to live in such a healthy and healing environment. She welcomes the opportunity to work with you toward improving your health and fitness.

Karoline Droege

 Karoline has been skiing and biking in Ketchum since childhood and has been a physical therapist in the Wood River Valley since 1999. She has focused on sports medicine and orthopedics since studying Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Utah. Karoline earned her Master’s degree at Idaho State University in 1999 and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. As a lifelong competitor, Karoline was an NCAA Division I alpine ski racer and was on the team that won the 2008 24-Hour Team Mountain Bike National Championships. Karoline also stays fit to keep up with her twin boys. At Sun Valley Sports Rehabilitation, Karoline focuses on helping patients recover from injuries and operations with the goal of becoming better than they were before.

Jill Pardini Morse

 Jill has been a physical therapist for 20 years, 15 of which have been in the Wood River Valley. She has always worked with orthopedic and sports injuries, which parallel Jill's personal interests. Jill enjoys the reward of helping people return to their activities, whether it is competitive sports or simply being able to enjoy an active lifestyle.

Rob Kolb

 Rob started playing tennis at the age of five. Throughout his junior years Rob competed in Intermountain Division tennis tournaments, achieving great success. Rob started his career in tennis at Sun Valley Company at the age of 15, becoming their youngest full-time summer tennis instructor. He has been teaching professionally ever since. During his teaching experience Rob has co-instructed clinics and played in multiple exhibition matches with tennis professionals including Mats Wilander, Tom Gorman, Fred Stolle, and Tracy Austin. The experiences he has had with these professionals, as well as with other great tennis mentors, have greatly influenced his career and teaching style. Rob enjoys skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, alpine touring, mountain biking, hiking, golf, tennis, and rock climbing.

Cameron Lickle

 Cameron graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2003. He was the captain of the Naval Academy's tennis team in 2002 and 2003 and was ranked #1 during his time there. Cameron was selected to serve as "Captain of the Captains" by all other sports team captains in 2003. Inducted to the Naval Academy Sports Hall of Fame in 2003, he also served for five years in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear engineer. Cameron is currently playing ITF Futures events.

George Maurtua

 George started his tennis career at the age of four on the red clay courts of South America. He climbed up the junior ranks to South American and Peruvian junior champion and has been ranked 16 in singles and 7 in doubles nationally in the USA in his age group. George has gone through rigorous training and testing by the United Professional Tennis Association and has earned the high honors of a USPTA - Professional #1 Certification. This is one of the highest achievements earned by a teaching professional.

Leo Miranda

 Leo's personal tennis achievements include: National ranking singles #2 1983 (Lima, Peru); National titles 14 & 16 division; represented Peru in South American championship (Santiago, Chile), Banana Bowl (Sao Paolo Brazil), Orange Bowl (USA), Inka Bowl (Lima, Peru) Juniors 14-16-18; Most Valuable Player at Lees Mcrae College 1987 (Banner Elk, North Carolina); Big Sky conference runner-up at #2 singles (Boise, Idaho). Leo additionally brings 22 years of coaching experience to Zenergy, including: November 2006, ITF Men's Circuit (Ivan Miranda), September 2003, US OPEN (Ivan Miranda & Alexandre Simoni), Assistant tennis coach at Boise State University, 1990, Tennis pro at Sonesta Beach Hotel, 1992, and Assistant tennis coach at Sheraton Royal Biscayne, 1985

Fred Stolle

 With 18 Grand Slam championships under his belt, Fred Stolle ranks seventh on the all-time list of champions. A member of Australia's Davis Cup team from 1964 until 1967, he won 13 of the 14 matches while playing on four victorious teams. His tremendous talents earned him the ranking of number one in the world in 1966. A native of Hornsby, Australia, Fred is an international television commentator and analyst, occasionally covering matches for his son, Sandon, who successfully competes on the pro tour. He is a part-time resident of Sun Valley.

Mats Wilander

 Mats was formerly the #1 tennis player in the world. During his illustrious career, Mats won seven Grand Slam singles titles (3 at the French Open, 3 at the Australian Open, and 1 at the US Open) and 1 Grand Slam men's doubles title at Wimbledon with Joakim Nystrom. He finished 1988 ranked #1 in the world. Inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2002, Mats also helped Sweden win the Davis Cup Tournament in 1984, 1985, and 1987.

Julie Sargent

 Julie has been a Pilates devotee since 2003 after many years of active participation in Bikram Yoga. She received her M.A.T. Teacher Certification at Metropolitan Pilates in Seattle where she trained under Dorothee VandeWalle. Dorothee is a master Pilates teacher and widely recognized as one of the world's leading teacher-trainers. After being certified in 2011, Julie worked as an instructor at both Metropolitan Pilates and Core Pilates in Bellevue, Washington.

Julie enjoys working with a wide variety of clients who appreciate the benefits of enhanced core strength to improve flexibility, balance, and overall fitness. In her free time Julie likes to hike, bike, ski, and golf.

Deborah Murphy

 Deborah has been a Certified Authentic Romana's Pilates Instructor since 2002. Deborah believes that Pilates is for all walks of life and that everyone can benefit, from the injured to the inflexible or uncoordinated to the very athletic. She feels that doing what you love will lead to the life you love—sound mind, good health, positive attitude, and daily exercise with a lot of laughter. Jessica Kisiel

 Sports alignment coach, Jessica Kisiel, MS helps athletes of all levels and ages eliminate pain and recover from injury. Uniquely blending posture alignment therapy, sports coaching, movement technique, wellness coaching and strength and conditioning, she gives you all the tools needed to prevent and overcome physical limitations. A long-time health and fitness professional Jessica was diagnosed with severe hip Osteoarthritis following three knee surgeries. Using an integrated approach she recovered and is back to sports. She'll help you return to activity with increased body confidence, a stronger mental attitude and a holistic training strategy that supports continued wellness. Jessica lives in Los Alamos, NM with her husband Ken. She currently travels to the Wood River Valley four to five times a year to conduct Egoscue® clinics and assist her Idaho clients.

Emily Knowles

 Emily is a Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor, and Group Fitness Instructor. Her certifications include A.C.E Personal Trainer, A.C.E. Fitness Instructor, Authentic Pilates Instructor, and Intuitive Eating Coach. She has been working in the industry since 1998. Training, challenging, and seeing changes in the body are a passion of hers. She has run a marathon and competed in the NGA Northwest Natural Pro-Atlas Bodybuilding and Figure Championships in Boise, taking second place in 2004 and winning the overall title in 2012. Emily enjoys working with people who are overweight and having a tough time getting motivated. That is her specialty, and she loves to share the "secrets" she's learned over the years to attaining a fit and healthy body.

Brenda Powell

 Brenda is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, an ACSM Health Fitness Instructor, and Certified Yoga Instructor. She also holds a B.S. in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Sports Nutrition. Brenda has been in the fitness industry for 20 years, yet still maintains the energy and enthusiasm she had early in her career. Throughout her experience, Brenda's constant passion has been teaching group exercise, personal training, yoga, and helping her clients understand the importance of the nutritional component in their routines. Brenda still has the energy and enthusiasm she had as a young leotard- and leg warmer-wearing 20-year-old, but with much more wisdom for the safety and programming aspects of exercise.

Cathie Caccia

 Cathie began her formal study of Hatha Yoga in 1984. Trained originally in the Iyengar Method, she has found both guidance and inspiration from many of today's leading teachers including but not limited to; Rodney Yee, John Friend, Judith Lasater, Patricia Walden, Dharma Mittra and Rod Stryker. Cathie’s classes combine plenty of asana, breath awareness, chanting and deep relaxation to help her students awaken to their most essential nature. Cathie is a Yoga Alliance registered teacher at the E-RYT 500 level and a Shiatsu and Massage therapist with over 1200 hours of training. She has been teaching Yoga since 1987.
Cathie is delighted to be at Zenergy and can be found teaching Yin Yoga, All levels Hatha Yoga and offering Shiatsu massage in the spa.


Danielle Carruth

 Danielle was first certified as a traditional ashtanga yoga instructor at Mount Madonna Center in Santa Cruz, California in 2003. She has also been trained in Iyengar and Anusara traditions in her intervening 10 years of teaching. Her teaching style is a mix of the 3 traditions with emphasis on alignment and flow. Danielle is formerly a US development team skier and college racer for Middlebury and University of Colorado. She is still an avid skier and teaches for the Sun Valley Snow Sports School during the winter months. Her approach to yoga is very much from an athlete's perspective.

Diane Crist

 Diane Crist, M.A., is a certified yoga instructor and a Jungian psychotherapist who has been practicing in the Wood River Valley since 1989. She believes in the power of the psyche to influence illness and health. Diane honors the body's ability to change one's mindset. She is especially interested in the application of specific asanas (poses) to aid in the recovery of certain psychological disorders such as depression, anxiety, or addictions. She weaves psychological and spiritual threads into her yoga classes while staying light and playful.

Dana Henry

 Dana is an L.Ac. licensed acupuncturist and yoga teacher. She has a Masters in Oriental Medicine and a B.A.in Asian Studies from Colgate University. She has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and been a health care practitioner for seven. Dana believes that acupuncture and yoga work well together in keeping the body, mind, and soul in balance. She loves the mountains and her dog Rover!

Eryn Michaud

 Eryn draws on a history of influential teachers in addition to the inspiration of her daily meditation and yoga practices to create organic classes, which challenge students to uncover the latent energy that can heal. In her teaching Eryn fuses the elements of Vinyasa, alignment, mindfulness, self-inquiry, and hands-on adjustments, creating a safe space for students to be who they are and as they are in each moment. Her students describe her teaching as dynamic, innovative, and honest. Along with teaching, Eryn maintains a private psychotherapy practice and is a Ph.D. candidate in Clinical Psychology.

Cal Millar

 Cal brings 19 years of practicing Qi Gong to Zenergy. Qi Gong can be defined as “dedicated energy work.” It is a soft martial art form that focuses upon cultivating energy in order to create calmness of spirit with the added benefits of improved balance, coordination and strength. Cal offers simple instruction encouraging each person in his or her own journey of energy cultivation. Cal is also a board-certified acupuncturist with 17 years experience practicing in the Wood River Valley.

Katherine Pleasants

 Katherine is a passionate and well-respected yoga teacher in our community. Her knowledge and teaching skills have brought her a great following of beginners to advanced yoga students. Katherine's approach in yoga is gentle with alignment, using breath in relationship to movement which allows for more release in the postures, in addition to proper support of props as individually needed to address injuries and health concerns. She holds certifications in Iyengar, Advanced Restorative Yoga, Essential Yoga Therapy, Essential Low Back Intensive, Yoga Meditation, Philosophy, Theory, and Injury Prevention as well as other certifications. Katherine also teaches privates, workshops, clinics, and has specialized in custom yoga retreats since 1999.

Ryan Redman

 Due to a keen interest in yoga, Ryan began exploring the sub-continent of India at a very young age. During his travels, Sri Sathya Baba inspired and awakened him to a lifelong commitment to spirituality. At the age of 21, Ryan began sharing his yoga practice as a certified instructor in Santa Barbara, California. With close to three years of intensive study in India, Ryan has grounded the roots of his teachings deep in Indian Philosophy, while also integrating western principles of Anatomy and Physiology. Ryan continues to lead retreats and teach workshops internationally in both yoga and Ayurveda.

Jessica Soine

 Jessica arrived in Ketchum, Idaho in 1999 with a zest for the outdoors and a passion for health and healing. Her first yoga training was with Bikram Choudary at the Bikram Yoga College of India in Los Angeles, California, where she discovered that heat plays a key role in opening the body. She instructed, operated and owned the Bikram Yoga Sun Valley Studio in Ketchum for three years. Currently, she teaches a combination of flow in the heat with a vibrant, aloha spirit. Jessica has a B.S. in Exercise Science, has had experience as a personal trainer, and is also a massage therapist. She believes the human body encompasses an amazing journey; if we keep our hearts open, the human spirit will endure an extraordinary experience. This is why everybody may enjoy the path of yoga, on the mat, into real life.

Located just north of Ketchum off Saddle Road. From Main Street Ketchum, continue North approximately a half a mile. Turn right on Saddle Road, then left on Valleywood Drive. Look for the Zenergy sign at the entrance of Valleywood Drive.
